Aligning Pano Images to Your Model

Sometimes, when uploading pano images from tools like Enscape, the panos may appear rotated (e.g., 90 degrees). To ensure proper alignment between your pano image and your 3D model, DigitalSpaces.io provides an Align Tool. Here's how to use it effectively:

Using the Align Tool

  1. Enter the Alignment Mode:

    • On the View page, look for the Alignment section.

  2. Turn on the Wireframe:

    • This overlay lets you see your model's structure as a guide against the pano image.

  3. Adjust the Model Rotation:

    • Use the rotation buttons (⟲⟳) to rotate the pano image in 90-degree increments. This will align it with the wireframe.

    • Fine-tune the rotation until the wireframe aligns perfectly with the image.

  4. Save the Alignment:

    • Once the alignment looks correct, click Save to update the pano rotation settings.

Automatic Confirmation on First Entry

When you enter the View page for the first time, DigitalSpaces.io will automatically display a confirmation UI for you to fix any misalignment. This ensures you address any rotation issues upfront. However, it’s easy to miss this prompt, so you can always access the align tool manually as described above.

With the Align Tool, you can quickly fix alignment issues and ensure your pano and 3D model work seamlessly together. If you encounter any challenges, reach out to our support team for assistance!
