Read How it Works before getting started


Before you export

  • Only have the geometry that you want to export displayed in the viewport

  • Hide any geometry far from the camera or outside windows

Step 1: In a viewport...

  • Enter the Viewport Dropdown settings

Step 2: Split Layout Horizontal

  • Viewport Dropdown->Viewport Layout-> Split Horizontal

  • your viewport will look like this...

Step 3: Split Vertical

  • Viewport Dropdown->Viewport Layout-> Split Vertical

  • your viewport will look like this...

Step 4: Repeat for all views

  • Repeat the process of splitting your views until you have a viewport for each view.

  • If you have 10 cameras, you will need 10 viewports.

Step 5: Connect all views to a viewport

  • Place each Named View into a viewport

  • Great! The hard part is over!

  • Now we can export


COLLADA (.dae)

Step 1: Navigate to File->Save as...

  • Enter a file name, save location, and export as COLLADA File (*.dae)

  • You do not need to save textures


FBX (.fbx)

Step 1: Navigate to File->Save as...

  • Enter a file name, save location, and export as COLLADA File (*.dae)

  • You do not need to save textures
